Shortlisted by IPOPHL-DITTB and carefully deliberated by select members of the IPOPHL Executive Committee and Advisory Council on IP, Tundayag IP has been unanimously cited as the one and only Philippine’s Top IP Agent for Trademark based on its 2023 performance.
IPOPHL, or the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, is a government agency attached to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and mandated to administer and implement the state policies declared in the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (RA2893, as amended). Particularly, IPOPHL examines applications for patent grants and registrations of utility models, industrial designs, and trademarks, among others.
On 29 April 2024, Tundayag IP’s Engr. Maris P Tundayag receives the award for the highest recognition in the Philippine trademark practice at the 2024 Gawad Yamang Isip Awards Night held at Dusit Thani Manila in the business district of Makati City.
April is National Intellectual Property Month (NIPM). The night has been graced by the IPOPHL Executive Committee members in attendance headed by Director General Rowel S. Barba and Bureau representatives, the 25th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines and President Marcos’ incumbent Executive Secretary Hon. Lucas P. Bersamin, and as well as the versatile IPOPHL’s IP Ambassador for Anti-Piracy Mr. Matteo Guidicelli.
